At desk chair workspace, our community is what makes this place special—and every member brings something unique to the table.
This week, we’re excited to introduce Trey Bonvillain, a member of the Procraft team and someone who brings a thoughtful, grounded perspective to both business and community.
From Sales to Startup to Strategy
Trey’s career journey has been anything but ordinary. He originally built his background in sales, and later partnered with his brother to start and grow a small hemp and medicinal CBD business. Over the course of about eight years, they helped build the company into something meaningful before ultimately selling it in 2022.
After that chapter closed, Trey transitioned into his current role with Procraft, where he now works alongside his best friend Jason. Trey first learned about the company through Jason. For Trey, one of the most refreshing parts of this transition has been the opportunity to share the weight of business ownership with others. After years of carrying the demands of entrepreneurship, he’s found real value in collaboration and shared responsibility.
At Procraft, Trey is part of a group integrating vital technology into the physical world. The company’s mission is centered around innovation, craftsmanship, and delivering thoughtful solutions that make an impact.
Why Coworking Works
Trey chose coworking because he wanted to create a clearer separation between his living space and his professional life. Since joining desk chair, he’s discovered that coworking offers much more than just a place to work. One of his favorite parts of the experience has been the connections he’s made—not just for business, but personally as well. For Trey, the daily relationships and conversations with other members are what make the space truly special.
Life Outside the Office
When he’s not working, Trey enjoys spending time outdoors. He also loves reading, typically nonfiction and historical fiction, which reflect his curiosity and appreciation for learning. When it comes to local favorites, Pourhouse stands out as his top pick. Not only does he enjoy the food and atmosphere, but he also has a close personal connection with many of the people who work there.
If Trey could sit down for dinner or drinks with anyone in the world, he’d choose Jon Meacham. As an important and eloquent American historian, Meacham is someone Trey believes would make for a fascinating conversation.
Making an Impact
Trey’s journey reflects growth, adaptability, and the value of strong relationships—both in business and in life. His story is a reminder that success doesn’t always follow a straight path, and that sometimes the most meaningful opportunities come from collaboration, connection, and being open to change.
