The iconic First National Bank building in Loveland at Cleveland and 4th Street has been a central part of historic Loveland’s architecture and landscape for nearly 90 years. In its latest incarnation, it’s home to desk chair™ workspace, shared office space, though that’s only the latest chapter in the building’s long and distinguished 90-year-history.

Opening in 1928 as one of the most modern banks in Colorado at its time, the building was home to First National Bank for 35 years. Much of the bank’s original architecture was maintained or reimagined when desk chair converted the space to a shared workspace. Working with designer Sherry Ames, original structures such as the marble floors, vaulted ceilings, and historic brick were preserved and augmented with modern touches such as brushed aluminum and glass. The result is a distinctly modern workplace that hasn’t lost touch of its classic roots.

Decorated with museum-grade artwork, all desk chair workspace’s four floors have been configured to help professionals achieve more with each day, and the facility now features everything a freelancer, remote worker, or small business owner could need:

  • Flexible office space: Choose office space to suit your needs. From hot desks and dedicated assigned desks that allow you to enjoy the building’s energy and atmosphere to suites – some of which feature private, off-street entrances – desk chair provides flexible office space solutions.
  • Conference room: Meet guests in style in desk chair’s conference room. Enjoy privacy and the comfort of a modern conference room, available to all membership levels.
  • Ultra-high-speed internet: A robust IT infrastructure gives even engineers, animators, and filmmakers the bandwidth they need to effectively transfer big files.
  • Open seating: Freelance workspaces shouldn’t feel limiting. Freelancers enjoy common spaces, such as couches, rooftop patios, and quiet work nooks as an alternative to their desks.

The desk chair workspace building has a long, storied history, from bank to Larimer County administrative offices to home to Interweave Press. With its new incarnation as a coworking environment, desk chair is ready to give a home to modern freelance workers. Ready to enjoy the luxuries of shared office space?
