Desk chair workspace™ received its certificate of completion for a major renovation resulting in a 30% capacity increase. The new space, named Foundation Suites, can accommodate teams of 9, 12, and 20 people, ideal for larger companies that need “hub quarters” in Northern Colorado.
“We have found the need to expand our office space offerings to larger companies. We have seen multiple companies based out of the Greater Denver area desire to expand their presence into Northern Colorado. Coworking is an immediate, sensible solution,” says desk chair Community Manager, Jim Doherty.
The initial Foundation Suite buildout was designed as a Makers space, but with the high demand for traditional coworking office solutions, desk chair pivoted their offering to accommodate space for larger companies.
“We were 100% full right before Covid hit. However, the uncertainty the pandemic created resulted in a substantial reduction in occupancy. But once people felt comfortable getting out again, we saw even stronger demand for flexible office space, thus the renovation of our Foundation Suites,” says Jim Doherty. “The Foundation renovation also allows us to accommodate several smaller companies and individuals as well.”
Going back into the traditional office seems long gone. Coworking offers a post-pandemic office alternative. “Often, business owners underestimate the cost of owning or traditionally renting their own office space.
